Hojo Garden at Tofukuji Temple

Tofukuji Temple, very famous for its autumn foliage, is crowded with a great number of visitors everyday. If you visit there, the Hojo garden is a must see.

Landscaped by Mr. Mirei Shigemori, a Japanese landscape architect in Showa era, Hojo garden takes you to the world of KARESANSUI (Japanese art of dry rock garden).

Please take a look at those checker patterns with moss blocks and cut stones. How innovative, modern, and lovely they are! I think this place is a perfect spot to visit in YUMEYAKATA's KIMONO. Maybe you can choose a retro one, or maybe a cute one. Either way, you will enjoy the perfect harmony of KIMONO and the beautiful KARESANSUI background.

So, if you are a KIMONO lover, you must check this out!
