The most famous place for Fuji (藤, Wisteria) flowers in Kyoto must be Toba Aquatic Conservation Center (鳥羽水環境保全センター) in the Minami ward. Dark purple ones and rare white ones are vividly blooming in harmony. The wisteria trellis has a length of 120 meters in total and the site is filled with sweet and fresh scent.
The view of the flowers reminds me of elegant ladies exactly as its floral language "tenderness" or "hospitality" expresses. Now it's the prime season for wisteria flower viewing. Akane Kibune
