Pray for Luck with Money at MIKANE Shrine

Human desire is limitless. We all wish for protection against misfortune, good health, happy relationship, promotion and education.

In Kyoto, there are many shrines and temples which are said to be responsive to those prayers. These places are crowded with many visitors everyday and I guess most of the visitors pray for economic fortunes...

Here, Mikane shrine enshrines a god of metal. Since metal is referred to as kane in Japanese, people started to pray for money (also reffered to as kane, the same sound) here.

Many people thinks:

Money fills your desire!

Money doesn’t lie!

Money is everything!

There are so many ways of living, but still money is important. Why don't you visit the shrine and make a wish!
