Among my readers, the Kameyama Park at Arashiyama district is already famous for our location photo shooting. It's the place where you can enjoy wonderful views of various flowers for every season. The origin of the name Kameyama (亀=turtle, 山=mountain) is said to be the shape of the hill which is like a turtle. The park commands the most attractive view down of the Hozu river (保津川) which had enchanted the Heian (平安) noblemen in the ancient time too.
Now that the cherry blossoms are gone, another delight is coming. It's the fresh greenery which I love. In addition, azerias are soon in full bloom. Azerias alone are already beautiful, however, the combination of fresh greenery and azeria is just breathtaking. Please enjoy! Of course, in YUMEYAKATA kimono!
